Amex Tap, Pay and Ride June 2026: Get 20% Cashback on Public Transport Rides Until 31st August 2026
From 2nd June to 31st August 2026, get S$2 cashback on every S$10 spent on public transport rides with your American Express card. That is equivalent to 20% of cashback and is on top of the usual card rewards you get from your cards.
This is limited to twice a month on a per card basis, which means you should be able to get S$12 of cashback over the 3-month period for each American Express card you have.
Registration required
Registration is required and this offer is limited to the first 100,000 registrations. If you have multiple cards to use and foresee making enough public transportation spend, do register them sooner rather than later.

I got an error when I tried to register my DBS yuu Amex Card, but the website later indicated that my card was already registered when I tried to do it again. A confirmation email was also sent after my registration.
Best cards to use
Aside from this promo, Amex-issued cards do not give rewards for SimplyGo rides – yes, not even Amex True Cashback’s 1.5% cashback!
Amex cards issued by DBS or UOB, however, do offer cashback or miles for public transportation rides, and you can enjoy the usual card rewards on top of this Amex offer.

Based on the accumulated spend within the month
Cardholders do not need to worry that they only spend a small amount per ride or per day because the offer is based on the accumulated spend on SimplyGo transactions per month.
According to the terms and conditions, cashback will be credited within 15 business days of the transaction, though it may take as long as 90 days from the offer end date. Based on experience, the rewards are usually credited within days in past promos.
