Promo Details (StanChart’s S$500 Offer)
Please follow the steps carefully to secure the S$500 cashback sign-up reward reward:
- Apply with this link (latest date 31st July 2024, use code
59642if prompted) - Select StanChart Simply Cash or StanChart Smart Card and complete the application
- Fill in this Google form
- Activate the card and charge at least S$1,000 of eligible transactions to your card within 60 days of card approval
See terms and conditions here.
The S$500 cashback will be credited by 31st October 2024 if all requirements are met. From my experience, you are able to credit the cashback to your StanChart account if you have one using the StanChart app. Otherwise, you can quite easily pay off a bill using AXS.

Or get Dyson hairdryer, latest iPad or Apple Watch
Alternatively, apply below to get a choice of fantastic gadgets! The spend requirement is also lower at S$500 compared to S$1,000 above.
Personally, I think only the Dyson is worth picking since the other gifts aren’t quite better than S$500 cash. Having S$500 on hand is definitely better than something that is retailing for around S$500.

What to spend on?
You need to meet the minimum spend to qualify for rewards. Do note that there are transactions which are excluded. Read the terms and conditions carefully when applying.
Generally, retail transactions like buying stuff or dining out are very safe. Things like bill payments, education expenses and CardUp or ipaymy become a lot iffier and depends on the bank your card is from.
