I recently tested out a whole bunch of travel cards, and Trust Cashback card came up as one of the best because with of 0 foreign currency fees and 1% cashback.
For new customers, Trust Cashback has a boosted 1.5% cashback rate until 31st December 2024 and hence is an even better card to use for overseas transactions. Accumulating enough spend will also unlock more scratch cards (see above) which add on to the savings.
Most travel cards that offer 0 foreign currency fees offer little to no rewards, so Trust Cashback wins them handily with just 1% or 1.5% cashback. If you satisfy the quarterly spend requirement, you can even get up to 4.89% effective cashback across your spend as described in my review video.
It’s also pretty fuss-free since it’s a credit card that you charge transactions to. You don’t need to convert currencies ahead of time, and you won’t need to deal with leftover foreign currency at the end of your trip.
Decent as an everyday card
As a card for everyday expenses, Trust Cashback Card is also pretty decent. Although its “15% cashback” marketing is pretty misleading, Trust Cashback Card users can still get as much as 4.89% cashback if they are able to use the card in the most optimal manner possible (as described in my review video).
