PSA: Get S$200 For Crediting Salary to DBS, S$50 to S$100 For Account Opening

Here is an excellent, low-effort way to get S$200: simply credit your salary to any of your DBS/POSB bank accounts and you can get S$200 in cash. The promotion period is between 1st April 2023 to 31st July 2023.

Thanks to Tim for sharing

Salary crediting requirements

Here are the steps spelled out by DBS for you to get your cash reward:

  1. Submit the online participation form
  2. Credit a minimum monthly salary of S$1,600 via GIRO with transaction reference codes “SAL” or “PAY” to any of his/her DBS/POSB accounts (“Salary Crediting Account”) for 3 consecutive months, with the first salary credit taking place during the Promotion Period

Unfortunately, this promotion will not apply if you already have a salary crediting arrangement with DBS/POSB between 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023. It is particularly unfortunate that I am one of such people with an existing salary arrangement with the bank.

It is unclear whether or not the little workaround I shared in my latest video would help you qualify for this reward. I would personally email my HR to help me do the necessary for the reward… not that I qualify for this promo.

Account opening rewards

Further to the above promo, you can also open a DBS Multiplier Account and/or POSB Save As You Earn (SAYE) Account for additional S$50 cash reward each. That’s a total of S$300 you can earn from this promo.

Terms and conditions

See more details here, and do read through the terms and conditions of the promo. As with most terms and conditions, I would encourage saving the PDF for your own future reference.
