Update: this incredible deal is over and you should stay subscribed to the Telegram so that you won’t miss such deals!
Don’t have a UOB Credit Card? Stop whatever you are doing and sign up for this new-to-bank promotion now. You can get as much as 50,000 KrisFlyer miles, and it’s the best sign-up offer I’ve ever seen for KrisFlyer UOB Card. This promo will end tomorrow (13th November 2022) so get your applications in by then.
Unlike typical UOB promos, this promotion is not limited to the first few people who qualify; as long as you put in your application (see below for instructions) by 13th November 2022 and meet the spend requirements, you will qualify for the promotion.
Even if you are not into the miles collecting game, 50,000 KrisFlyer miles is worth quite a bit: it is already enough to fly you to many nearby destinations. You need just 27,000 miles for a return trip to Bangkok, and 40,000 miles if you want to do your travel in business class. It is also worth 0.8 cents each at KrisShop, and given the rarity of good UOB sign-up promos, this is something you shouldn’t miss. My personal valuation of miles is around 1 to 1.25 cents each – and many would deem this a low valuation – so you can see why this promo is excellent.
There is an added gift of a 20″ luggage, and that is indeed in typical UOB fashion limited to the first 400 eligible applicants. I am told that only about 25% of that is claimed, so you stand a high chance to get this gift too. Note that this is entirely based on what a little birdie has told me so I can’t verify it.
Nonetheless, the deal is attractive enough, and here is a breakdown of the miles:
|Sign up for KrisFlyer UOB Card as new cardholder (no UOB Credit Card or cancelled one in the past 6 months) with the below link by 13th November 2022, and spend S$2,000 in eligible transactions within 60 days||38,000 KrisFlyer miles|
|Welcome gift for first-time KrisFlyer UOB Card applicants||5,000 KrisFlyer miles|
|Bonus Welcome Miles for first-time applicants who make their first Kris+ App transaction from 10 November 2022 till 31 January 2023||1,000 KrisFlyer miles|
|Miles earned from S$2,000 spend||2,400 to 6,000 KrisFlyer miles*|
|First 400 eligible applicants||20″ Luggage|
|Total||Up to 50,000 KrisFlyer miles|

The card is pretty useful
KrisFlyer UOB Credit Card is a nifty card that I use from time to time, and has appeared in a couple of my “best cards to use” videos (see: bus/MRT, big-ticket items). I last reviewed it years ago when it was launched, and will come up with an updated review soon.
