Promo details

To qualify, you need to be a user who have yet to make any payment with CardUp. The payment needs to reach your recipient by 29th December 2023 in order for you to receive S$20 eCapitaVoucher. You should thus schedule your payment before 6PM on 26th December 2023 as CardUp requires 3 business days to process the payment.

If you missed this deadline, you can also set a next-day payment before 6PM on 28th December 2023. This requires additional 0.3% fee.

CardUp will send the voucher to eligible users by 10th January 2024.

Get cashback or miles on top of the eCapitaVoucher

The typical transaction fee of CardUp is 2.6%. This means that a transaction amount of S$2,000 will incur S$52 of fees. Using code SETHISFY gets you S$30 off the fee.

You would therefore pay a fee of S$22 on a S$2,000 transaction. With a 1.4 miles per dollar card, you can get around 2,830 miles from this transaction. This means you have bought miles for 0.78 cents which is very good value.

If you factor in the S$20 eCapitaVoucher, you are essentially paying S$2 for 2,830 miles which is a steal.

For cashback users, using a card like Bank of China Family Card means you will pay S$22 for S$25 of cashback and the S$20 eCapitaVoucher. You could alternatively make a first transaction of around S$800 to get S$25 of cashback for free (but no eCapitaVoucher since the first transaction is under S$2,000).
