  2. Enter your Amex card number, and select My Travel Insurance (Single-Trip or Annual)
  3. Promo code TRAVELASSURED will be auto-applied.

Value of gifts can exceed premiums paid!

Like last year, this promo can deliver gifts exceeding the premium paid especially for day trips. Here’s a quote for a single day at Indonesia (day trip to Batam, perhaps?):

Despite the “Best Value” label for the Standard plan, Superior plan should get you the best bang for the buck. A S$41 policy gets you S$40 Grab vouchers plus either S$10 eCapitaVoucher, 500 miles, or 1,000 Membership Rewards Points depending on the Amex card you use for payment.

Because this is a policy bought via Amex, you also get the earn rate of your Amex card.

Gifts are given on a per policy basis, meaning you will get 2 sets of gifts if you applied for 2 separate policies.

Policy covers loss of miles

One compelling feature of the coverage is that flights booked with miles are covered, making this a very useful policy for travel plans booked via promos like Spontaneous Escapes.

Other useful perks include things like emergency evacuation, loss/damage to personal property, travel delays or curtailment:

Free Accor Plus Explorer membership for annual Superior plan

For annual regional Superior plans, the promotional gift is a free Accor Plus Explorer membership. The main draws in my opinion are the 50% dining discounts at selected outlets and 1 night’s free stay at participating Accor hotels. Even Sofitel works, though that probably requires advanced booking.

Accor Plus Explorer normally costs S$418, so it’s a nice chunk of savings off the travel policy’s annual premium.
