Webull has been adding a string of features, and the latest is something that is very useful for many investors. I’d even call it game-changing, and I’ll explain why in a bit. First, you’d need a Webull account to take advantage of its features, of course, so let’s take a look at the promo if you haven’t already gotten an account.
Final call for promo
Webull’s excellent promo has been extended for a couple of months but is finally set to end 31st May 2023 at 4PM. Word is the next offer is likely to be significantly more luck-based, and there will also be a minimum amount of funding required.
Those who have putting this off only have a few more days to take advantage of this promo before it is gone for good.

New feature: Regular Savings Plan
The latest feature is incredibly useful for most working individuals – the ability to set up recurring deposits to automagically invest a certain amount on a regular basis from as low as S$1.
While the feature is called a “savings plan”, there is no lock-in period to worry about. You can stop anytime you wish without a penalty, and in fact I’ll urge you to think hard about committing to investments that impose all sorts of fees and termination clauses should you wish to stop.
Why is this a compelling feature?
I’m a firm believer that investing needs to be done automatically on a regular basis, and this feature makes it very convenient for you to do so at a pace you are comfortable with. You can set the recurring deposit to monthly, biweekly, weekly, or even each trading day to dollar cost average at a frequency you desire.
Through my experience meeting with many working individuals, most of us are simply too caught up with our jobs to invest in a regular manner. Investing ends up becoming a very ad-hoc and intermittent affair, and worse – we start to let emotions cloud our judgment. We tend to second-guess whether it is the “right time” to put funds in, and this leaves room for procrastination to take over.
I speak from personal experience – I use trading apps to invest manually, and I have missed entire periods where investing would have gotten me great prices. I’m too busy with my jobs, I’d say, though the irony is rich considering how most of my work revolves around personal finance. Thankfully, I have automatic investments that help me stay investing even as I am occupied with work and life.
Build the habit: start small and increase later
Webull introducing this feature is particularly compelling because Webull supports fractional trading which means each transaction can be as low as US$5. Coupled with Webull’s low fees, one can invest regularly with very small amounts that might not be possible on other platforms. Moreover, the fees are low and very competitive. There are even no commissions for new clients having for the first 183 days from account approval, and until 30th September 2023 for existing users.
People can try dipping their toes into the investing waters by starting with a small recurring amount each month. Even a tiny amount works to get the habit started, and you can increase it later when your comfort level rises.
Conclusion
On top of having a very good sign-up promo right now until 31st May, Webull is also a useful trading app. You should definitely take advantage of its sign-up promo now before it goes away, then take your time to explore its functions at your own pace thereafter.
