Sethisfy.com Fundraiser – Welcoming 2026 by Supporting Children With Cancer
What a year 2025 has been. Whether it’s been a great year or challenging one for everyone, it’s my wish that we can keep those who are less privileged in mind. As we celebrate the end of yet another year and welcome the new one, let’s chip in what we can to alleviate the challenges that children with cancer and their loved ones face.

Across 3 fundraisers in the past few years, the Sethisfy.com community has raised over S$26,000 for children-related causes.
Supporting children with cancer
This year, it is my hope that we continue to support Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) in their work of supporting children living with the illness. No one should face the challenges of cancer, but it is a reality for many, including children of tender ages. Let’s contribute to those living with the illness and help brighten their days as we move into the new year.
100% of the funds raised will be donated to CCF. CCF provides children with cancer and their families the much needed support in their battle against the life-threatening illness.
Donations are 250% tax deductible
As an Institution of Public Character (IPC) charity, donors can get 250% tax deduction for their charitable contributions to CCF (for donations S$10 and up).
For example, if your annual income is S$80,000 and you donated S$1,000, your chargeable income will decrease by S$2,500. Your income tax will now be based on a reduced chargeable income of S$77,500.
Donations made in 2026 will count for tax deduction in Year of Assessment 2027.
What cards to use?
While many cards have excluded charitable donations from rewards, it is still possible to get some cashback or miles when using certain cards for the giving.
I’ve heard of some frowning on getting card rewards or even tax deductions on their donations which I find a little bit perplexing. If you so desire, getting rewards for your donations simply means that you can amplify your giving. Someone who intended to give S$1,000 now has additional S$15 they can contribute assuming they get a 1.5% cashback on their donation.
Cashback
As the campaign is hosted on Giving.sg, you shouldn’t have an issue using Visa, Mastercard, or Amex for your donations. These cards will get you some cashback/rebates on your charitable giving:

Miles
If you prefer miles, there aren’t many choices, but the good news is that Chocolate Card does not cap charitable donations to S$100 like it does for things like utilities and insurance.
