Once your StanChart Smart Card application is done, sign up for Bonus$aver Account here.

It requires a deposit of S$50,000 fresh funds into the account, and you have to maintain this amount from account opening till the end of the following month. S$250 for setting aside this amount for a little over a month is a very good return for banking deposits.
