Earn Rebates Paying Bills With AXS Rewards
AXS Rewards just launched and it is now possible to earn some rebates for making bill payments like income tax, loans, insurance, and even credit card payments.
The last time someone tried to offer rewards on bill payments on AXS, things kinda blew up so it’s perhaps fortunate that this is an official rewards programme offered by AXS itself.
Only available on AXS mobile app
You will first need to use the AXS mobile app and register for an AXS Rewards account. Currently, paying bills through a desktop browser will not work.
Use referral code ZHUEVXG8 when you sign up to get 50 bonus Coins after your first bill payment.
Steps
- Register for an AXS Rewards account with the AXS mobile app
- Enter referral code
ZHUEVXG8 - Input details of the bill you wish to pay and select your payment method (credit card and loan bills can only be paid by debit cards)
- Redeem Coins for AXS e-vouchers or mystery box (recommended until 28th February 2026)
How many Coins can you earn?
According to AXS, you can get:

| Pay 1 recurring bill | 15 Coins |
| Every 3 bills paid | 30 Coins |
Each bill can only earn Coins once per month.
For example, I have two policies from the same insurer to pay for this month. Payment to Policy A will earn me 10 Coins, and another payment to Policy B will earn me another 10 Coins.
However, paying Policy A or Policy B again will not get me more Coins unless I made another payment to it next month.
How much is each Coin worth?
There are currently 4 redemptions available on the AXS Rewards catalogue:

Right now, the mystery box redemption is easily the best since the prizes is minimally a S$0.18 AXS voucher. This works out to a minimum 1.8 cent per Coin value since the mystery box currently costs 10 Coins which is a time-limited promo until 28th February 2026.
According to AXS, these are the prizes you can expect from the mystery boxes as well as the probability of getting them:

So far, I’ve redeemed 11 Mystery Boxes paying just 3 bills and gotten:
- 7 S$0.18 AXS vouchers
- 2 S$0.88 AXS vouchers
- 1 S$2.20 Yakun voucher
- 1 S$8.88 AXS Voucher
That’s about S$14 worth of rewards for paying just 3 of my bills and using a referral code. Not too shabby. See terms and conditions of the mystery boxes here.

Smaller bills make more sense
Given that the Coins are given on bill payments of at least S$5 and the number does not change with the bill size, smaller bill payments make more sense from a rewards perspective.
For things like insurance, for instance, I would pay just S$5, and use other means to pay them for rewards on the remaining amount.
Something is better than nothing
The rewards are not life-changing of course, but this is essentially free money especially for those who have been paying bills via AXS all along. Some credit cards, like those from Maybank and HSBC, can only be paid via AXS if you don’t have savings accounts with those banks so you might as well get some rebates on such bill payments.

Hi Seth, does the 3 bills need to be in the same transaction? or can be paid / accumulated on different days?
Now that the mystery box is 30 coins, would it still be recommended? (0.6 vs 0.5?)
