HeyMax Bonus: Get Bonus Max Miles With UOB Preferred Visa

For the month of April 2026, HeyMax is giving bonus Max Miles when you spend on your linked UOB Preferred Visa (the recently rebranded UOB Preferred Platinum Visa). This is on top of the relatively easy 4 miles per dollar the card earns, and extra rewards without much work for people who are already using this card regularly.

Check if you’re targeted

This seems to be a targeted promo so not everyone will get it. Among the targeted users, some get bonus 1 Max Mile per dollar while a few lucky ones get bonus 2 Max Miles per dollar.

You can check in your HeyMax app whether you are one of the selected users as well as the earn rate you are getting this month:

No registration is required, and since your card is linked to HeyMax, you should also be receiving notifications of bonus Max Miles being credited when you spend on your UOB Preferred Visa.

Max Miles awarded on UOB Preferred Visa eligible spend

According to the terms and conditions of the promo, HeyMax is awarding bonus Max Miles based on the same conditions as UOB Preferred Visa. This means that you would spend normally as you would with your card, and bonus Max Miles would be awarded on your mobile contactless spend as well as selected online transactions.

Mobile contactless, as UOB Preferred Visa cardholders should know, refers to using the card via Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, or Google Pay. Online transactions need to be in one of the following Merchant Category Codes (MCC):

Max Miles are awarded are awarded on eligible spend rounded up to 1 decimal place and this is not subject to UOB’s S$5 spend blocks. For a transaction of S$32.27, 32.3 bonus Max Miles (or 64.6 for those who got 2 Max Miles per dollar) are awarded.

Spend caps and maximum miles

The caps for the promo also follow the same category caps of the card which is S$600 each for UOB Preferred Visa’s mobile contactless and online categories.

HeyMax specifies that the spend cap for this promo may be reached sooner than the UOB Preferred Visa’s spend cap since the card awards points on every S$5.

Other promos to consider this month

This promo makes UOB Preferred Visa extra useful with Kris+’s spend promo this month. There is also an 8-miles-per-dollar-sized elephant in the room, and those who can fulfil HSBC Revolution’s requirements should probably prioritise spend on that card instead.

I’ve somehow maxed my HSBC Revolution already (video games are expensive these days) and this promo is timely rain to tide me through the rest of the month.
