Easy S$20: Get Double Sign-up Reward For BigFundr

Update: back to S$10 from 1st February 2025.

For a limited time until 31st January 2025, BigFundr is offering double the sign-up rewards, making it an easy S$20 just by starting your account using code R12667K. If you wish to, you can also fund your account and invest in BigFundr’s project, though it’s best to understand the associated risks and mechanism before placing money into it.

Upsized S$20 for signing up

To get an upsized reward of S$20 (usually S$10), simply follow these steps which take only a few minutes:

  1. Tap here and enter referral code R12667K
  2. Sign up with your details
  3. Rewards will be credited in the following month

From my experience so far, referral benefits can either be used for investment with BigFundr or withdrawn as cash to your bank account. You can find the terms and conditions here.

BigFundr states that the verification of new account can take up to 3 days. My friend signed up this morning (Monday) at 3AM, and got the account was verified around 9AM.

Festive rewards for first investment

If you wish to invest in BigFundr, there is also a first investment bonus that gives anywhere from S$10 to S$400 depending on the amount you place. As far as I know, there is normally no such incentive for investing, and this is also until 31st January 2025.

My views on investing in BigFundr

I have previously expressed my thoughts on BigFundr, but if you have missed it, here is the video:

I feel that the risk-return ratio is about what one would expect for something that gives around 6% p.a. returns. It’s likely not the safest instrument around, but it’s also probably not the most risky investment we have access to. When we take additional risk, we are compensated for it while we give up returns if we want safer assets. My personal opinion (and not financial advice) is that compared to safer instruments like bank deposits, money market funds, and even short-term investment grade bond funds, BigFundr perhaps is riskier. However, given the layers of protection it should be safer than directly investing in overseas properties yourself.

Note that one layer of guarantee has been removed. Maxi-Cash was previously guaranteeing deals, but it has since stopped this layer of protection for new deals made on 16th October 2024 and later. The other 3 layers remain, namely BigFundr having the first legal charge on the real estate, each deal requiring a personal guarantee by the borrower entity, and the buy-back provision by fund management companies.

One can get a pretty easy S$20 just for signing up, but investing would be something that should require a lot more due diligence.

  1. This is a scam, signed up using your code and referred a few people who completed their KYC but received nothing. It doesn’t even show that I was referred by you.
