9 Welcome Offers to Get Miles Quickly
One of the fastest ways to get miles is to take advantage of sign-up offers. As promised in the title, here are as many as 9 promos you can sign up for to collect a bunch of miles quickly. Some may involve fees, but buying miles is like buying USD, Labubus, or any valuable commodity — get them cheap enough and you’re still coming up ahead.
1: Miles and vouchers with Amex Travel Insurance
Most promos that give you miles for signing up are credit cards, so kicking this list off is an unexpected source you can get miles from — travel insurance. The current promo gives miles if you use a Amex KrisFlyer or Amex Platinum card, plus Grab vouchers that can offset your policy premium. For some single-day trips, the value of the gifts can even exceed the cost of the coverage.
Check it out here:
2 & 3: Up to 140,000 miles with Amex KrisFlyer Ascend + Amex Platinum Charge
Speaking of Amex cards, these are 2 deals not to be missed and they can be stacked for a staggering 140,000 miles in total. The end date draws closer and both deals are set to end by 30th June 2025 31st July 2025. Sign up soon:
4: 50,000 miles with Citi Prestige
Also ending end of this month is Citi Prestige’s 50,000 miles offer. While it has been recently nerfed, the first-year value proposition is still pretty good. Signing up now also avoids the upcoming annual fee hike, at least for the first year.
Since this works for either new or existing Citi cardholders, you may wish to sign up for another Citibank card first before enjoying this deal.

5 & 6: Up to 60,000 miles with DBS Altitude or DBS Vantage deal
DBS has extended its miles promo for DBS Altitude and DBS Vantage. DBS Vantage unfortunately comes at a reduced number of miles this time, but DBS Altitude’s offer is unchanged and you can get as much as 28,000 or 38,000 miles with just S$800 of spend.
Unfortunately, you have to pick one or the other; both deals are only for new cardholders and thus can’t be stacked.
7 & 8: Up to 92,000 with StanChart Journey and StanChart Visa Infinite
StanChart is offering 2 sign-up offers for its miles cards that can be stacked! Sign up first for the StanChart Journey which is offering 42,000 miles (30,000 miles + 12,000 Max Miles) before going for the StanChart Visa Infinite which is offering 50,000 miles even for existing cardholders!
9: Easy 556 miles with DBS yuu app
If you’re into miles, you definitely can’t ignore my pick for Miles Card of the Year, DBS yuu. And if you’re using DBS yuu, you also need the yuu App so you can track your points, get more deals within the app, and also convert your points to rebates or miles. Sign up below and link it to your DBS yuu card for a bonus 2,000 yuu Points which can be converted into 556 miles!
